*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
*Duties*

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.

Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.

Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessments.

Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.

Monitor and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.

Collaborate with dentists and other dental staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
*Skills*

Proficiency in Open Dental and familiarity with other dental office software.

Strong knowledge of aseptic technique to prevent infection during procedures.

Comprehensive understanding of dental anatomy and terminology.

Experience with four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures.

Ability to provide exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and education.

Background in dental assisting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for diagnostic purposes.

Competence in monitoring vital signs to support overall patient health.
