We are a Luxury full service spa searching for experienced Hair Stylist’s with a Texas state issued cosmetology license. Our organization is always looking for qualified candidates to join our team and is willing to offer extensive training.

Responsibilities:

• Job Summary: Hairstylist assistant supports salon stylists by providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized salon environment, and assisting with daily salon operations. This position helps create a luxury salon experience while learning and developing professional hairstyling skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Client Experience

Greet clients warmly upon arrival.

Offer refreshments and assist with client comfort.

Prepare clients for their appointments.

Assist with client check-in and check-out.

Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Help ensure clients have a positive salon experience.

Hair Assistance:

Shampoo and condition clients' hair.

Assist with hair treatments and conditioning services.

Detangle and section hair as directed by the stylist.

Assist with color preparation and application when authorized.

Help prepare clients for blowouts and styling.

Maintain and sanitize tools and equipment.

Assist stylists during services as needed.

Salon Maintenance:

Keep workstations clean and organized.

Sweep hair between appointments.

Wash and organize towels and capes.

Restock salon products and supplies.

Maintain cleanliness of shampoo bowls and common areas.

Follow salon sanitation and safety procedures.

Professional Expectations

Arrive on time and be ready to work at scheduled shifts.

Maintain a professional appearance.

Communicate respectfully with clients and coworkers.

Stay productive during downtime.

Be willing to learn and accept constructive feedback.

Follow salon policies and procedures.

Represent Glamourcurl Salon & Spa professionally.

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
