Details and Requirements:

• CDL Class A license

• Safe driving record

• 1099 Independent Contractor Agreement

• Pass DOT's physical and drug testing

• Enrolled in random drug testing

• Plan for at least 2 weeks on the road, 3 weeks is preferred.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across interstates while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.
This role requires a strong commitment to timely pick up, deliveries, and excellent driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive interstate a tractor-trailer transporting general freight.
• Secure loads in 53ft dry van
• Maintain accurate logs of HOS, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, and any issues encountered during transit.
• Skills
• Proficient in driving automatic/automated transmission vehicles.
• Experience with 53ft dry van
• Background in commercial driving with a valid CDL license.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions on the road
• Maintaining logs and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
