We are seeking a motivated, personable, and patient-focused Physician Assistant to join our established orthopedic practice in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Led by an experienced orthopedic surgeon with over 30 years of clinical experience, our practice offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with the physician in both clinical and surgical environments. The PA will play an active role in patient care, from initial evaluation through treatment and follow-up.

The ideal candidate enjoys a hands-on approach to medicine, values teamwork, and takes pride in providing exceptional patient care. Working approximately 2–3 days per week, this position offers the opportunity to be part of an established practice while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the orthopedic surgeon during patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits.
• Perform patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.
• Assist in developing and coordinating individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in the surgical setting and assist with surgical procedures as appropriate.
• Review imaging and diagnostic results and assist with patient communication.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care and education.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate continuity of care.
• Collaborate with the surgeon and clinical staff to ensure an excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current Arizona PA license and NCCPA certification (PA-C).
• Orthopedic experience preferred, but motivated candidates with other clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in both clinical orthopedics and surgical care.
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and organizational skills.
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating sound clinical judgment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Competitive hourly compensation: $45–$55, based on experience.
• Part-time W-2 employee position.
• Approximately 2–3 days per week.
• Schedule coordinated with the selected candidate.
