Admissions Director

Key Responsibilities

• Complete admission sign-ins and required paperwork for all new residents.
• Ensure rooms are ready before residents arrive.
• Round on new admissions during their first 72 hours to address needs and support a welcoming transition.
• Communicate with the hospital liaison regarding all referrals and admissions.
• Enter and maintain accurate referral information in PointClickCare (PCC).
• Verify insurance information, benefits, and authorization requirements.
• Coordinate required pre-admission checks, including sex offender screenings, medication reviews, and medication cost checks.
• Invite new residents or families to provide an honest, voluntary Google review within 72 hours of admission.
• Plan and host two marketing events each month.
• Make two to four marketing calls daily, as scheduling permits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in admissions and marketing, preferably in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and the admissions process.
• Familiarity with PCC preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to build relationships with hospital partners, residents, families, and community contacts.
