About Us
We provide personalized one-on-one elder and companion care in the comfort of the client's home or facility. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Our focus is on dignity, safety, companionship, independence, and dependable support tailored to each client's individual needs.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable CNAs who take pride in providing attentive 1:1 care and building trusting relationships with clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized one-on-one care to elderly clients
- Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and light household tasks
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with walking, transfers, and fall-prevention support
- Provide transportation or accompaniment to appointments, errands, or social activities when scheduled
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or needs
- Maintain clear and accurate care documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, facility staff, and our office
- Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
- Help create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment
Requirements
- Current, active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of CNA or patient-care experience
- Experience working with elderly clients
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance if transporting clients
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable assisting with personal care, mobility, and activities of daily living
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Smartphone with reliable phone and text access
- Must successfully complete applicable background and credential verification requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing private-duty or in-home elder care
- Experience working in assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, or other senior-care facilities
- Experience with dementia or memory-care clients
- Experience with mobility assistance and fall prevention
- Experience providing companionship and emotional support
- Experience working with families and communicating changes in a client's condition
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
Schedule
This is a per diem / as-needed 1099 independent contractor position based on client needs. Shifts may include:
- 4-hour shifts
- 6-hour shifts
- 8-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- Overnight care
- Extended or recurring assignments
Availability may vary from week to week.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for CNAs who are compassionate, patient, reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy working one-on-one with older adults.
Because our model is centered around 1:1 private care, we want CNAs who notice the little things, communicate well, and understand that companionship matters just as much as completing daily care tasks.
