Compounding Pharmacy Technician

• WHAT WE OFFER
• Full-time position for licensed technician.
• Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays (3 hours).
• Day shifts only; no late nights or major holidays.

• WHAT YOU DO
• Prepare customized non-sterile compounds by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Create various dosage forms, including:
• Chewable treats
• Flavored oral liquids
• Transdermal gels
• Capsules
• Specialized suspensions
• Use PK Software to manage formulas, calculate ingredients, track lot numbers, and maintain compounding records.
• Follow USP, and California Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and calibrated laboratory.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• WHAT'S REQUIRED
• Active, unrestricted California Pharmacy Technician License .
• 1+ year of compounding pharmacy experience preferred,
• Strong mathematical and pharmaceutical calculation skills.
• Familiarity with PK Software or similar compounding software preferred.
• Retail pharmacy technicians with strong math and laboratory skills are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Interest in veterinary medicine and animal care is a plus.
• Hands-on training available for qualified candidates, including those without prior compounding experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
