Full-Time Cook / Chef – Senior Living

Pay: $23–$24/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8–10 working hours per day, with overtime pay as applicable.

We’re looking for a reliable, organized cook who enjoys preparing tasty, comforting meals for seniors. Prior cooking experience, especially in senior living or group meal preparation, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help plan menus and follow established menus, recipes, and instructions.

• Prepare and serve meals on time, following residents’ dietary requirements and portion guidelines.

• Track food inventory, plan ingredient needs, and prepare shopping lists before supplies run low.

• Store and label food properly, rotate stock, and minimize waste.

• Keep the kitchen, equipment, and food preparation areas clean and organized.

• Follow food safety procedures and communicate supply needs or kitchen concerns promptly.

What we’re looking for

• Good time management and the ability to organize preparation around meal times.

• Willingness to follow instructions and work cooperatively with our team.

• Dependability, attention to detail, and respect for our senior residents.

• Cooking experience is preferred; senior living experience is a plus.
