Mama’s Italian Restaurant & Bar is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and experienced Line Cook to join our growing team!
We take pride in preparing authentic Italian cuisine using high-quality ingredients, traditional recipes, and a commitment to excellence. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for great food and takes pride in every dish that leaves the kitchen.
Previous Italian cooking experience is strongly preferred, but not required. We're willing to train the right candidate who has a solid cooking foundation, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items consistently according to restaurant recipes and quality standards.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Maintain proper food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with food preparation, inventory rotation, and kitchen organization.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and portion control.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a line cook in a restaurant kitchen.
- Experience preparing Italian dishes, sauces, pasta, and traditional Italian cuisine is a major plus.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and improve culinary skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 38.0 per week

Plata: $14 - $18 an hour
