Ed & Joe's Restaurant & Pizzeria – Tinley Park, IL
Ed & Joe's Restaurant & Pizzeria is looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Host / Phone Person. We are looking for team players who can multitask, stay organized, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a friendly, welcoming experience.
- Answer phones and take carryout orders accurately.
- Manage guest seating, reservations, and waitlists.
- Enter orders and process payments using the POS system.
- Check carryout orders for accuracy and ensure they are ready for pickup.
- Keep the host stand, entrance, and carryout area clean and organized.
- Communicate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete opening, closing, and assigned sidework duties.
- Assist team members wherever needed.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment.
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and organized.
- Must be comfortable answering phones and using a POS system.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
