Description
Radiology Technologist Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for diverse patient populations by operating radiologic equipment and positioning patients safely to produce accurate images for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Duties
- Verify imaging orders and ensure correct procedures are followed.
- Apply ALARA radiation safety principles and follow infection control standards.
- Maintain proper patient care and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other caregivers to support treatment planning.
- Maintain imaging equipment and complete imaging records/documentation.
- Adhere to regulatory and quality standards for imaging services.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency operating radiologic imaging equipment and safely positioning patients.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety (ALARA) and infection control.
- Attention to detail for order verification, documentation, and image accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment.
- Commitment to clinical excellence and continuous learning.
