Description
Senior Transmission Line Engineer Lead overhead and underground transmission line projects from concept through construction for Energy & Utilities clients. Perform detailed design, electrical/mechanical analysis, and QA/QC to ensure compliance with NESC , IEEE , and applicable utility standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering deliverables for transmission line designs.
- Conduct detailed analysis and verify designs through QA/QC.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution.
- Support client engagement related to grid modernization and critical infrastructure.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong expertise in transmission line engineering and design of overhead/underground systems.
- Working knowledge of NESC and IEEE requirements and utility standards.
- Ability to lead technical efforts and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong communication skills for client and internal stakeholder coordination.
